Overview

  • Foundation year: 1998
  • Prices: from $199
  • Discounts: no
  • Deadline: from 48 hours
  • Guarantees: money back guarantee, free revisions

Special Features

There are a number of reasons for someone to go for ResumeGo. However, you should remember that these claims are made by the company website and often these companies make lucrative promises as a marketing strategy.

There is no other way than testing their services first hand to know if they actually provide such offers.

If you are not satisfied with the result, you can always choose to ask for the money back guarantee. They will give you the complete refund within 14 days. We think this is a great feature as it makes their service trustworthy. You could even ask for revisions rather than asking for the refund. In this way, both the parties win.

Professional HR personnels often look for certain keywords that make the candidate more worthy for a certain job. But inserting these keywords in the resume with finesse requires a more creative mind. You can get the promise of proper keyword optimization. It could be another major reason for someone to go for ResumeGo.

If you are still confused you should check out how their system works. So far we loved their prospect and how they deal with the clients.

Services Offered

ResumeGo.net is a website dedicated to serving professionals. You cannot find other different kinds of writings such as academic writings from them. Apart from helping you with the resume, they can lend their helping hand making you a great LinkedIn profile too. In this era of social media, there is no way you could deny the importance of LinkedIn as you can enhance your networking by great extent with a smart LinkedIn profile.

Apart from the Resume writing, CV writing, and LinkedIn profile, you can get cover letters and Thank You letters too.

Prices and Discounts

This is where things start to look a bit shaky! Their pricing policy is too expensive. They offer three different grades of resume packages –

  • Premium – starts at $199
  • Professional – starts at $249
  • Executive – starts at $399

The Premium package can be referred to as the basic plan where you get all of their common services and a resume. In the Professional package, you will get a special industry-tailored a resume and a management inspection from the ResumeGo team. A great bonus is the free LinkedIn profile tweaking.

In the Executive package, you will get everything from the Professional package plus a cover letter and a Thank You letter.

You can also take their additional services but remember these are paid services. Here are the rates –

  • Extra Resume – $80
  • Additional Cover Letter – $40
  • Extra Thank You Letter – $40

Overall, we think is not affordable for everyone out there.

Customer Support

We were astonished to see that they don’t have a dedicated customer support team. There is no way you could contact them and ask a few questions – no live chat, no, phone call, no e-mail, no nothing! It seemed completely ridiculous that this web service doesn’t offer any kind of customer support even in these days. We think the lack of customer support makes them look shady and illegitimate.

Judging from their website, they seem to be too pricey and we are questioning their legitimacy as they don’t have any kind of customer support. Yes, their website looks very promising but these two factors make them nothing but another resume writing website online. Overall, we would give them 5 out of 10.

  1. Do not work with this company. They are fraudulent. I have still not received my final resume, cover letter or LinkedIn package that I paid $250 over 2 months ago.
I paid for a resume, cover letter and the linked in package almost 2 months ago. I received a rough draft from a resume writer and never heard from him again. I emailed multiple times asking about the next steps and have never received my final resume, cover letter or linked in updates. I emailed customer service asking for a refund which they were unwilling to do since it had been 17 days (rather than 14) since I had received a rough draft and that is their policy.
This is totally unacceptable to me. This company is essentially charging me for a product that you have never provided and continue to refuse to provide. I have not had a bad customer service process like this in a very long time probably since dealing with a cable company. This is far from an experience you would expect from a professional resume writing company.
Customer service has now told me that they have told my resume writer to not work with me any more since I have requested a refund, but they will not issue a refund. What am I supposed to do about this? I don’t even need the resume any more since it took you 2 months to get to this point.

  2. The reviews here are consistent with my experience. I’ve had better luck on Fiverr. Communication with the writer was one-sentence responses like, Thanks, I’ll get back to you soon”, and literally nothing else. Finished product was dismal and it was clear there was no real expertise. When I attempted to escalate to any management, there is no way to do so except through a form on the website. The next day, the response came from the writer I was assigned to, not from a manager, who then yelled at me for complaining. Terms of service are that you only get a 50% refund if anything – regardless of quality – was delivered. Peter Yang, the CEO, should be embarrassed that his name is associated with this level of service.

  3. I paid for the full service, thank you letter and cover letter. They said if there were issues or any changes I wanted they would be there to take care of it. Turns out not so much. The Resume was worse then my current. Was so generic it was obvious that the writer hadn’t written anything but simply cut and paste items from my current resume into a cover letter and resume he gives everyone. So much he actually forgot to cut an paste part of my information and left the last persons. Realistically Word has a free program built in that can do this. For 600 dollars this should be tailored to me. Save your money.
